The Evangelical Training Association, which is based in Chicago IL,
comprises a membership of seminaries, colleges, universities, institutes and churches committed to providing
quality training resources to the church for equipping lay volunteers to serve Christ more effectively.

The Four Purposes of the E.T.A. Organization are to:

Foster a closer cooperation amongst evangelical Christian institutions |

2) |
Certify to the public a deep interest and concern for Christian education
|

3) |
Provide and Promote a common course in volunteer ministry training which will adequate attention to the Bible, personal evangelism and missions
|

4) |
Recognize and Encourage the use of textbooks of approved orthodoxy
|
E.T.A. also develops training material, which are used in Biblical institutes and local churches.
Over two million people have studied these courses which lead to church ministry awards and certificates.

Pleasant Zion's Purpose and Goal
We are truly blessed as a church in the city of Dallas, to administer such a program of this magnitude
for Christian growth through the Evangelical Training Association.
These courses are offered on-site at Pleasant Zion MBC, to not only our members,
but to the the community as well - Everyone is Welcome!
Through this program, we endeavor to continue to strive to build
stronger and better
equipped men and women to be leaders to work for the Lord as Kingdom Builders.
